- Greg is an Executive, Advisor, Entrepreneur, and Board Member. He built his career at the intersection of strategy, technology, innovation, and human performance. He is passionate about building diverse and empowered teams to leverage modern technology, partnerships, and data in innovative ways to fuel exponential growth and competitive advantage.
Greg’s Board experience includes B2B & B2C companies focused on technology, software, footwear & apparel, luxury fashion, robotics, automation, and sustainability. He currently serves as a Board Member with New Black, a unified commerce technology platform, WANTD, the industry's only management and trading platform powered by proprietary AI, The List, the first social commerce platform for luxury fashion, and Earthscape VR, an immersive technology company building virtual reality experiences to improve human performance. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Punks & Pinstripes, a private corporate transformation executive network. He also serves as a mentor and advisor to startups and growth-stage companies within Plug and Play Tech Center, Endeavor, and Stanford's Latino Business Action Network. He is a fierce advocate and ally for supporting and developing the next generation of women and BIPOC leaders.
Joining Nike in 2016, Greg led Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Development for the Advanced Innovation and Global Operations & Technology divisions. He built a center-of-excellence for Nike focused on creating high-value strategic partnerships, implementing and executing complex initiatives, negotiating intellectual property transactions, building new business models, and establishing best practices and tools designed to drive value from Nike’s strategic partnerships.
Greg leads Nike’s Digital Transformation, responsible for driving a portfolio of the most critical, complex, and cross-functional initiatives powering growth and transformation across the company. With initiatives spanning from Product Creation, Planning & Supply Chain, and Digital Marketing to the front-end Consumer & Brand experiences his work drives immense value across the enterprise. His work is reported to the Nike Board of Directors quarterly.
Prior to Nike, Greg founded and led 3 technology development and innovation commercialization start-ups across a wide range of areas including green energy, materials recycling, and a sustainable-focused lifestyle and footwear brand. Before that Greg spent 8 years in the health and fitness industry running operations for 2 health and fitness companies in the Washington, D.C. area. Greg received his B.Sc. in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland and his MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
