Roger Dunn


Principal Consultant

Roger Dunn is one of the world's leading voices in retail media and AI commerce, with over 20 years of experience driving commercial outcomes across the full ecosystem, spanning brand, agency, adtech, publisher and consultancy roles.

Roger has held senior leadership positions at some of the world's largest advertisers, agency groups and adtech platforms. He founded GroupM Commerce, WPP's specialist ecommerce and retail media practice in ANZ, launched Criteo's retail media business across Australia and New Zealand, and led CitrusAds Go-to-market as SVP for APAC to build out their retail media roll out. Most recently, he recently led the worldwide retail media programme for a Fortune 500 global brand across 180+ countries.

Roger is the author of the "AI Commerce Brief," a widely read newsletter exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, agentic commerce and advertising. He is currently serving as Jury President for The Drum's inaugural Commerce Media Awards.

A three-time RETHINK Retail Top Expert (2024, 2025, 2026), Roger was named to The Drum's Commerce Media Power 100 and won Retail Media Leader of the Year at both the REmade Awards and Path to Purchase Institute Retail Media Awards. He is a LinkedIn Top Voice, a Cannes Lions juror for Creative eCommerce, and the first person in Australia to be Amazon Advertising certified.

Roger holds advisory roles with the IAB Australia Retail Media Committee and the WFA Global Retail Media Taskforce, and is a founding member of the Ascendant Retail Media Council in Europe.
