Joan Kang drives regional go-to-market strategies for Consumer Acquisition & Engagement, aligning global narratives with local impact. She leads sales enablement, partnerships, and customer engagement to deliver cohesive, high-impact solutions across marketing, loyalty, and personalisation.
Prior to this, Joan was Vice President of Marketing Services Asia Pacific within Mastercard Services where she was responsible for marketing-related services and solutions that drive business profitability for Mastercard’s customers across 15 markets.
Joan has 20 years of experience in various marketing disciplines including Digital Acquisition, Integrated Marketing & Branding and Product Marketing. Prior to joining Mastercard in 2018, Joan worked with several multinational banks like HSBC, Citi and ANZ, and also at Discovery Inc., a major global broadcaster, where she set up and led the Digital Performance Marketing function.
