Tino Zeiske is Senior Advisor to Wumart Group, one of China’s leading retail groups and 

owner of the Maidelong business, the former METRO China operations. Previously, he 

served as President and CEO of M Commerce Group Co Ltd, leading the transformation of

the business into a digitally enabled wholesale and retail platform.

With more than 30 years of international retail experience across Europe and Asia, Tino is 

widely recognized for leading large-scale retail transformation initiatives in some of the 

world’s most dynamic consumer markets. Prior to his retail career, he spent ten years in 

banking, including with HypoVereinsbank AG, building a strong foundation in finance, 

governance and corporate transformation.

Over the past three decades, Tino has focused on the evolution of modern commerce—

from traditional wholesale and store-based models to digitally enabled, omnichannel and 

ecosystem-driven retail platforms. His work has centered on integrating physical retail 

networks, supply chain capabilities and digital technologies to create scalable and 

customer-centric operating models.

Tino regularly speaks on retail transformation, omnichannel strategy and the integration of 

physical and digital commerce. His leadership approach combines operational discipline 

with a strong focus on innovation, long-term value creation and building sustainable retail 

ecosystems.
