Hyeonseo Ku is the VP of Engineering at CJ Olive Young, leading the technical execution of the company’s global health and beauty expansion. With deep expertise spanning e-commerce, adtech, and machine learning, he has spent the past two years scaling Olive Young’s cross-border services and preparing the infrastructure for its upcoming US market launch.

Prior to joining Olive Young, Hyeonseo served as CTO for a Korean edtech startup, leading its global expansion and optimizing its business model to achieve profitability. Previously, he spent several years at the Silicon Valley-based adtech startup Moloco, serving as Engineering Director and General Manager, where he played a pivotal role in the company's journey to unicorn status. He also gained key e-commerce experience at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer immediately after earning his Master’s degree in machine learning from The University of Texas at Austin.
