Anil leads the global strategic industries team at Google Cloud, driving Google Cloud's strategy for enterprises across 19 sectors transform their businesses through innovative solutions spanning AI/ML, data & analytics and global, planet-scale infrastructure.

From 2014-2018, Anil was a member of the senior leadership team at Brightcove, Inc. (NASDAQ: BCOV), a leading global provider of cloud services for video, focused on revolutionizing video experiences. As EVP & GM, Anil led the Global Media business for Brightcove, focused on enabling media companies to maximize the value of every stream on every screen. Prior to Brightcove, Anil was responsible for corporate development and strategic business development at Unicorn Media, a game-changing video and advertising technology startup that focused on enabling major media companies to profitably embrace the "future of television." As the SVP Corporate & Business Development, Anil architected the sale of the company to Brightcove in January 2014.

Specializing in the application of design thinking to the creation and development of innovative products and ventures, Anil also founded Brightmonk Innovation, a venture design and new product development firm that worked hand in hand with company founders, management teams and product developers. For over 25 years, Anil has been involved in creating or advising startup ventures, serving in an influential capacity for many, including ServiceGuru, Narrable, Creed.io, ReplyBuy, HyLo, Flypaper Studios and Bollyverse. 

Anil was a Charter Member of TiE and a founding Board Member of TiE Arizona, and has served twice as Chapter President ('03-04, '07-08). TiE is the world's largest non-profit focused exclusively on fostering entrepreneurship through education, networking and mentorship. Anil also serves on the Board of Directors for Accedo and NAU Ventures.
