Jackie Kim


Director - Marketing & Advertising Sales Strategy

Jackie Kim is a multi-disciplinary executive with a proven track record of accelerating growth in media and advertising. As Director of Marketing and Sales Strategy at Coupang, she leads the development of innovative ad products and full-funnel advertising solutions that integrate sales, operations, data analytics, and marketing. She built the sales operations from the ground up and instilled operational rigor in e-commerce advertising, streamlining processes and maximizing revenue opportunities within Coupang’s rapidly expanding ecosystem.


Before joining Coupang, Jackie spent a decade at NBCUniversal, where she served as Vice President of Advertising Strategy. In this role, she was instrumental in defining and executing a comprehensive video advertising strategy that seamlessly integrated digital, social, and linear channels. She led monetization strategies for NBC Entertainment, News, Sports, and major global events, including the Rio 2016 and PyeongChang 2018 Olympics. She also spearheaded strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Apple, Google/YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Hulu, and Snap, expanding NBCUniversal’s digital video advertising footprint and driving industry innovation.


Jackie began her career in General Electric’s Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff, working across 20 countries and leading M&A initiatives, organizational transformations, and divestitures, gaining deep financial and operational expertise. A committed industry advocate, she has served on the IAB Exam Committee and held leadership roles at Advertising Women of New York and the Digital Diversity Network. She also collaborates with universities in Korea, educating the next generation on e-commerce and tech-driven advertising.


Jackie holds a BA in Economics and Public Policy from Trinity College (CT) and an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School.
