Melanie Sanders leads Bain’s Retail practice in Asia Pacific and is based in the firm’s Melbourne office. She has over 20 years of consulting experience and joined Bain in 2006. Ms. Sanders advises retail clients on driving profitable growth through developing and implementing customer led growth strategies. She has worked extensively across the retail sector in Asia Pacific, advising many iconic retailers across speciality retail, department stores, convenience, grocery, shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment. She is Bain’s leading expert on retail ecosystems. She is sought after for her views on retail trends and digital disruption, and has appeared on the BBC, Bloomberg, Money FM, The Economist, Australian Financial Review, ABC and Sky News. She has an MBA from Melbourne Business School and is a graduate of Melbourne University and holds a Bachelor of Science.
