Jamie Lim
CEO
Jamie holds a dual Executive MBA from UCLA–NUS and is Scanteak’s CEO/Regional Marketing Director. She leads regional branding, manages overseas franchises, and oversees Scanteak Singapore’s business operations.
After starting her career in Hollywood, Jamie transitioned from film marketing to Scanteak in 2004. By 2006, Scanteak had doubled its showroom footprint across the region. Under her leadership, the brand has received multiple accolades, including the Promising Brand Award (2005); CitiBusiness – SPBA Regional Brand Award (2006, 2013); SuperBrands (2009); Singapore Good Design Award (2015, 2019); Good Design Award Japan (2015); IPOS Award for Design Innovation (2015); President’s Design Award Singapore (2015); and SFIC SOL Awards (Experiential Excellence, 2023).
Jamie also led the introduction of two brands—ScanKomfort (mattresses) and ScanLiving (leather sofas). In 2010, Scanteak’s Taiwan operations became publicly listed, and she supports its growth as a board director. In Singapore, Scanteak operates 10 showrooms (as of 2024) and drives awareness and sales through roadshows and mall atrium pop-ups. Today, the Group has over 180 showrooms worldwide and is a leading furniture retailer in Singapore and Taiwan.
Sustainability is central to Jamie’s vision. Scanteak products are SVLK-certified and tested for low formaldehyde levels to ensure safer home use. She also initiated Scanteak’s e-commerce development, expanding the brand’s presence through its official online store, Shopee, and Lazada. The company is now pursuing broader digital transformation, including AR and AI to enhance retail experiences and automation. Scanteak also achieved Business Excellence Certification (SQC and S-Class) in June 2017.
Beyond business, Jamie champions ethical leadership, industry collaboration, and design excellence through partnerships with institutes and designers such as Outofstock. Her awards include JCI TOYP Singapore (2012), AWEN Award (2024), SG-WEN Award (2024), and the International Furniture Leadership Award (2025). She also serves on the Tripartite Cluster for Retail (2024–2026).
