Tino Zeiske

Tino Zeiske is President and CEO of M Commerce Group Co Ltd, a leading wholesale and retail platform in China operating the Maidelong business, the former METRO China operations. With more than 30 years of international retail experience across Europe and Asia, he is widely recognized for leading large-scale retail transformation programs in some of the world’s most dynamic and competitive consumer markets.
Tino began his professional career in banking, spending ten years with leading financial institutions including HypoVereinsbank AG. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in finance, capital markets and corporate governance, which later proved instrumental in managing complex retail organizations and transformation initiatives.
Over the past three decades in retail, Tino has played a key role in the evolution of modern commerce—from traditional wholesale and store-based models to digitally enabled, omnichannel and ecosystem-driven retail platforms. His work has focused on integrating physical store networks, B2B and B2C channels, supply chain capabilities and digital technologies to create scalable, customer-centric and resilient retail operating models.
Before joining M Commerce Group, he held multiple senior leadership roles within METRO AG, one of the world’s leading international wholesale companies. In China, he led major initiatives including digital transformation, supply chain modernization and the development of new growth models serving professional customers, SMEs and food service operators.
Tino regularly speaks on retail transformation, omnichannel strategy and the integration of physical and digital commerce in rapidly evolving consumer markets. His leadership approach combines operational discipline with a strong focus on innovation, long-term value creation and building sustainable retail ecosystems.
